2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

Enquiries

Your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.

Course bookings

Your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, the names of attendees you book on to a course, and any notes or requirements you provide. Where you pay online, your card details are entered directly into our payment provider’s systems — we never see or store your card number.

Trainers and portal users

Contact details, availability, session records, documents uploaded to the portal, and feedback submitted after a session.

3. Why we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Respond to enquiries and provide quotations.
• Arrange, deliver and administer training.
• Issue certificates and maintain training records.
• Take payment and issue invoices.
• Meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Our lawful bases for doing this are the performance of a contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our training services.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary, with:

• Our website host, which stores the data behind this site on secure servers in the UK.
• Our payment provider, Stripe, which processes card payments on our behalf.
• Our email provider, for sending booking confirmations and correspondence.
• Where the training requires it, the relevant awarding or accrediting body, so that your certificate can be issued and verified.

We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.

5. How long we keep it

• Booking and financial records: six years from the end of the relevant financial year, to meet HMRC requirements.
• Training and certificate records: six years, so that attendance can be confirmed and replacement certificates issued.
• Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: twelve months.
• Portal accounts: for as long as the account is active, and for six years afterwards where the records relate to training delivered.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete information, where we have no continuing reason to hold it.
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information.
• Ask us to transfer your information to another organisation.

To exercise any of these rights, email admin@enicetraining.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

7. How we protect your information

This website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to personal information is limited to those who need it to do their job, and portal accounts are protected by individual passwords. Card payments are handled entirely by our payment provider.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
